Five Oaks, c. 1888
Five Oaks is a grand summer home built by a prominent Charleston family. At various times, the house was used as an inn, most recently as The Flat Rock Inn.
Today Five Oaks is the perfect mix of charm and comfort and is available for vacation and event rental.
Guests have access to 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, an eat-in kitchen, butler's pantry, dining room, multiple sitting rooms, and a generous wrap-around porch. Of the 4 bedrooms, 3 have king beds and ensuite bathrooms (one with additional twin bed in its dressing room), and 1 has a queen bed and hall bath. All have TVs, ceiling fans, and dedicated thermostats. There are two second floor porches accessed through various bedrooms. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
